Dr. Pramod Kumar is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Environmental Studies in Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi. He has 3 years experience in Consultancy (Integrated Environmental Services) and 7 Years of teaching experience in the Area of Environmental Science.

Three Years Work Experience (Consultancy and Analytical lab) allowed him to better understand the implications of Environmental research and have inspired him enhance the impact of his work by choosing interesting problems with clear applications. He was able to develop knowledge about Preparation of EOI, Tenders & Proposals, Project Execution and Client Correspondence, Preparation of Reports and Presentations, Environmental Monitoring, Site Survey, Primary and Secondary Data collection, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Pollution Load Assessment, Process study, Identification of Waste Minimization Options), Project Management, Energy Studies, Critical Evaluation, Environmental Impact Assessment, Preparation of Environmental Budget and Post - Monitoring Plan, Preparation of Final EIA report and the presentation to be presented in front of Expert Appraisal Committee.
Despite the effort involved in building a complete vertical application, the reward has been a deeper insight into the true requirements, and an invaluable understanding of what problems most need to be solved. He plans to continue this strategy in his ongoing research. Besides he has interests in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environment Management Planning, Environment Management System, Remote Sensing and GIS, Solid Waste Management. In his experience in University and in Consultancy and Analytical lab, he found that knowledge of practical techniques about various projects related to Environmental field and also understanding different areas of Environment is very important and of utmost requirement. He believes that he would have a beneficial effect both in the effectiveness and reliability and also overall satisfaction of the organisation.

Dr. Pramod is an Assistant Professor of EVS with more than 7 years of teaching experience and has published 10 research papers in international and national journals including articles, conference papers and a chapter in book. He performs basic job responsibility on teaching and research. Besides, he is actively involved in doing the academic administration and consulting works. He has completed several skill enhancement courses in diverse fields viz. Teaching, Psychology and others offered through Coursera.
