Dr. Monalisa Paul is a researcher, author, and content writer who works for creating awareness regarding increasing urbanisation on the biodiversity. She completed her Ph.D. in Environment Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Masters in Zoology from Delhi University and Bachelor of Education from Central Institute of Education (C.I.E.), Delhi University. She has qualified CSIR-NET too. She presented her research work at Orvieto, Italy and Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh (India) and was honoured with Best Oral Presenter award. She was also a rapporteur at National Green Tribunal conference. She has authored eight research articles which have been published in peer-reviewed national and international journals like Current Science, Indian Forester, Journal of Threatened Taxa and Acta Ecologica Sinica (Elsevier).  She writes science fiction for children which have been published in the country’s one of the most popular magazines ’Science Reporter’. She has also worked as reviewer for many journals. She has taught at various colleges of Delhi University at undergraduate level too.
