Dr Anchal Garg is the Founder and Director at EnviroVigyan since 2021. She is a researcher, consultant, activist, and educator in the field of Environment Management. She completed her Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences (with specialization on Air Pollution Monitoring, Health Risks, and Management) from GGS Indraprastha University.

During her Ph.D., she observed that the majority of the citizens are unaware about scientific facts of the environment. As a responsible citizen, everybody should have a better understanding about environment and current advancements in solving environmental issues. Therefore, she decided to communicate information of extensive research work in the simplest manner to citizens. For this purpose, she along with her team start creating posts regarding major environmental issues on various social media platforms for creating awareness. She has been actively involved in educating, awaring and empowering the citizens about environmental issues since last few years. She carried out extensive research on air pollution and its negative implications on climate change and human health. She has expertise of working on monitoring, mapping, emission inventory, and identifying health hazards of Volatile Organic Compounds, Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons and Particulate Matter.

She is Gold Medalist in M.Sc. Environment Management from GGS Indraprastha University. She obtained her B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, and B.Ed. from Maharshi Dayanand University. She is also DST-INSPIRE Awardee and part of Indian delegation in BRICS Young Scientist Forum-2019 held at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has published 14 research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. She has also participated and awarded for her best presentations in various national and international conferences and workshops. At such young age, she also got the opportunity for being the part of youngest scientific expert for SCO Young Scientist Conclave and Core Member of SCO Forum.
